Average Mean Median Mode. First find the two middle integers in your list. If you have an even number of data points calculating the median requires another step or two.
If there were 2 different numbers in the middle in an even numbers series the Median would be the average. 92 91 90 90 84 70 65 56 30 we can see that the median or middle score is 84. In this example the two middle numbers are 8 and 12.
This might not be a whole number.
The largest value in the list is 21 and the smallest is 13 so the range is 21 13 8. For another example view the video below. Since this series is formed by 11 numbers the median would be the sixth one. To calculate it you take the 3rd and 4th values in the data set and average them to get a median of 25.
